From the Director

My name is Cynthia Simon, and I am the founder of Simon’s Recovery Outreach. This organization was born out of my personal journey through hardship, survival, and ultimately, a deep desire to give back to those in need.

At the age of 24, I found myself in a terrifying situation. As a mother of two young boys, we were forced to flee for our lives, escaping the horrors of domestic violence. We had nowhere to go, no stable place to call home, and faced the overwhelming challenges of homelessness. The struggle was immense, but through resilience, faith, and the support of kind-hearted people, I was able to rebuild my life. Those experiences ignited a passion within me to help others who are facing similar battles.

Beyond my personal experiences, my dedication to this cause also stems from my family’s military background. My father and brother both served in the military, and I have witnessed firsthand the difficulties many veterans encounter after their service. Far too often, those who have fought for our country find themselves struggling with homelessness, mental health issues, and a lack of support. Simon’s Recovery Outreach is committed to ensuring that veterans receive the help and resources they deserve.
Simon’s Recovery Outreach is more than just an organization; it is a mission to provide hope, resources, and a second chance to those who need it most. Whether you are escaping domestic violence, experiencing homelessness, or a veteran in need of support, know that you are not alone. We are here to help.
